A thriving healthy community

Hospitals, Local Councils, Community Groups, Not for Profits

We love to help build a strong and resilient community or neighbourhood.

Health Literacy is not just about sharing medical advice.

We help your organisation develop the right communications tools to share messages in the right space. This helps improve the health, social outcomes, and living conditions of your extended communities.

Living well and building a strong and healthy community can include;

  • Sharing information about access to local exercise and activities

  • Social engagements that are age and ability focussed

  • Connecting people with the services available in their local area

  • Encouraging testing for preventative disease

  • Education about the negative impacts of certain lifestyle or workplace choices

  • Helping people care for themselves better to reduce illness and disease

Projects

We realise you’re really busy and rarely have time to analyse a complex strategy. You want to hand over the project, tasks and just get it done.

Campaigns

Campaigns may run simultaneously, or you may prefer to run one at a time. We’ll also review each campaign at all stages.

St Vincent’s Private Hospital

SVHA is a National provider of care to many patients each year

In 2020 they launched a new website to showcase the services and care provided by each of their Private Hospitals.

Well Communications joined the project to assist with the information transfer from four local Victorian websites to the new larger site. This involved working with various stakeholders across multiple departments and ensuring all information met the regulations for hospital accreditation procedures while adhering to all compliance requirements for hospital communications in Australia.

Moonee Valley City Council

The MOVE MV Campaign

A local community campaign to encourage residents to benefit from using Council owned and run assets. The communications strategy helped to:

  • Promote all council assets that could be used with a MOVE membership

  • Improve signage at and around venues

  • An easy-to-navigate and information-rich website

  • Engaging social platforms that are nimble, current and connect people to local activities.

  • Timely communications sharing health and wellness advice, including opportunities for social connection

  • Improved access to health facilities for marginalised groups
